Type of facility:

• Can personally visit the cows and in person also feed their own cows, but the same is required to be done at particular timings in the morning and evening.
• Insurance of cows so as to mitigate the risk of death of cows or diseases
• They will get a monthly premium towards the milk production less feeding of cows.
• Proper care of the cows and also have a veterinary doctor whenever required
• Proper cow shelter and showers for the cows so as to be hygienic.
• Quarterly reporting of the cow’s picture in WhatsApp or mail
• Special invites will be sent on puja days like Gopasthami.
• During the currency of the agreement with a notice of 3 months the cow can be taken back but then a premium of Rs 6000/- is to be paid by the owner.
• Collection of own cow’s milk possible but the same needs to be collected from the dairy farm. In such case, the feeding cost will be borne by the cow owner on monthly basis.

Financial Implications:

• Owners will pay a one-time amount of Rs. 60,000/- to Rs. 150,000/- for a Gir Cow (depending on the breed and lactation) and Rs. 51000/- for other local cows.
• No monthly feeding, maintenance and operational charges to be paid as the same would be borne by the Dairy who are entitled to sell their milk.
• The owner of the cow is entitled to get the below-mentioned benefits and it shall continue for 5 years.

– assured return of 7.5% per annum of the purchase value of the cow depending upon the breed.

– provided with one kg of ghee per cow (same breed owned by him/her) every year.

• The dairy will be entitled to get the ownership of the calves produced during the period of agreement with the investor.

Documents:

• KYC documents of the owners with email id and Whatsapp numbers too.
• GST Registration documents and evidences if applicable to the owner.
• All money to be received through Cheque/NEFT and thus an agreement will be done depending upon the scheme entered into by the owner/ investor of the cow.

Repayment:

• The initial investment towards the cow would be returned to the investor after a period of 5 years or as per mutual agreement with the owners and dairy unit.
• The option of not taking the money and having his own cow back is open after 5 years.
• All transportation costs to be borne by the owners/investor
